WHAT’S NEW!
The key change in this release of Bunifu DataViz is in the Product Management section which
will be discussed later in the section: Navigating the New Bunifu Framework Manager.

INSTALLATION
This section provides a detailed step-by-step guide on the installation process of Bunifu DataViz.

Whether you’ve purchased the Basic or the Advanced DataViz product, the installation and
usage process is equally the same.

1. BASIC
Once you’ve purchased Bunifu DataViz Basic and downloaded it from your email address,
you’ll then extract it as it comes packaged in .zip format:

From there, proceed to launching Visual Studio and loading/creating a new VB.NET/C#
project.

Once done, open any Form in order to activate Visual Studio’s Toolbox tab, right-click on it
and select Add Tab; this will create a new tab and allow you to provide a name for it – you
can name it Bunifu DataViz Basic.

Within the same tab we’ve created, right-click on it and select Choose Items… A dialog will
pop-up with a list of tabs and a Browse… button down below it:
Click the Browse… button and navigate to the folder where Bunifu DataViz Basic was
downloaded; for most users this is in their Downloads folder.

Once you’ve navigated to the folder you extracted, select the dll library
BunifuDataVizBasic1.0.2.dll and then click Open; you’ll see the library added and checked
in the Choose Toolbox Items dialog. Finally, click on Okay to add the library to the Toolbox:

You can then select the control from your Toolbox and drag it onto your form just like any
other control.

Once done, you’ll be prompted for your license information before proceeding; ensure that
you provide the details and then continue from there on.
Likewise, please don’t hesitate to visit the Docs section of our site and get started on using
the Basic product.

2. ADVANCED
Once you’ve purchased Bunifu DataViz Advanced and downloaded it from your email
address, you’ll then extract it as it comes packaged in .zip format:

From there, proceed to launching Visual Studio and loading/creating a new VB.NET/C#
project.

Once done, open any Form in order to activate Visual Studio’s Toolbox tab, right-click on it
and select Add Tab; this will create a new tab and allow you to provide a name for it – you
can name it Bunifu DataViz Advanced.

Within the same tab we’ve created, right-click on it and select Choose Items… A dialog will
pop-up with a list of tabs and a Browse… button down below it:

downloaded; for most users this is in their Downloads folder.

Once you’ve navigated to the folder you extracted, select the dll library
BunifuDataVizAdvanced1.0.2.dll and then click Open; you’ll see the library added and
checked in the Choose Toolbox Items dialog. Finally, click on Okay to add the library to the
Toolbox:

other control.

NAVIGATING THE NEW BUNIFU FRAMEWORK MANAGER

The redesigned Bunifu Framework Manager – more design updates coming your way:
The Framework Manager will always notify you on new control-updates and their changelogs;
you will also be informed about your license status right beside the main window pane.

Different versions that have been installed can be selected and viewed/updated:
You can choose to Re-download that particular control, view its Documentation or Open the
Location Folder where the controls have been saved in-order to import them into Visual Studio.

CHECKING FOR UPDATES

Click on the Check Updates button. Once updates are found, a package installer dialog pops-
up:

Then click the Download button to proceed with your download. Once the download is
complete, ensure that you’ve imported the controls to Visual Studio’s Toolbox.

Once all these is done, you may proceed to using Bunifu UI.
