1. Which approach would be the best for Avie use to forecast demand for its products?

Answer- In my opinion Avie should use the combination of both quantitative as well as
qualitative approaches for forecasting the demand. It can use trend analysis for quantitative
approach to anticipate future demand based on the past sales history of the company. At the
same time as theare some economic downturns in the global environment; therefore, in this
case using qualitative approach such as management forecast will be equally important.
Therefore, to get more reliable demand forecast company should use the combination of both
trend analysis (quantitative approach) as well as management forecast (qualitative approach).
