Smart TV Mainboard ZLS47HIS-V1 With Cannot Startup Problem Solved
Smart TV Mainboard ZLS47HIS-V1 With Cannot Startup Problem Solved
Supply voltage to the TV mainboard and it is confirm the board cannot start-up.
Connect with the RT809H Universal Programmer, check their Print-Log status with
SecureCRT software as photo below:
A
The above Print-Log message shows that the TV mainboard problem is in the
EMMC or their corresponding circuit component/s. So check the basic condition of
how TV Mainboard working (please refer to V6-Smart OLED/LED/LCD TV
Repair Tips ebook for more details). Also start checking the TV Mainboard from
the easy way first then to the difficult. So start to check the EMMC and their
corresponding circuit components.
First, check their EMMC voltage supply line 3.3V. This 3.3V voltage supply line is
go to two way, one is through FB4 to EMMC chip; another way goes through the
10K ohm resistors to EMMC chip each I/O pins. Found the R1048 (10K ohm)
resistor was open circuit. After replaced R1048, power on the TV mainboard and
connected with RT809H programmer. This time the Print-Log status shows it is go
to the Console unit now (maybe the previous repairer was erased/empty their
EMMC chip firmware before).
So find the correct version firmware and copy it into the USB thumb drive try to
upgrade their firmware. But the Mainboard cannot recognize the USB thumb drive
firmware. Normally, when the TV Mainboard can reach the Console unit but
cannot upgrade, there were several factors may cause this problem. For example,
the USB thumb drive is not compatible with Mainboard, USB circuit in TV
mainboard, the BootLoader firmware is not match with Mainboard, Mainchip
problem & etc. Tried to change another USB thumb drive and the TV Mainboard
can upgrade their firmware now!
After upgraded the TV Mainboard firmware, the TV Mainboard can start-up and
loading till the TV Logo shows, but then no display! Removed the EMMC chip
from the TV mainboard and to do the offline read the chip and found nothing
wrong on it. That’s mean the EMMC chip is okay. So suspect the problem is on the
EMMC corresponding circuit component/s. Continue to check the EMMC circuit
components (Actually this EMMC circuit line just have several components only),
and found their VDDi pin corresponding component C1000 (SMD 2.2uF/10v) is
missing. Put a good smd 2.2uF/10V capacitor to C1000 and this Smart TV
Mainboard is working now!
