KORG BLE-MIDI Driver for Windows

The microKEY2 Air can connect wirelessly with Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 computers
using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and the KORG BLE-MIDI Driver.

Requirements
PC with hardware support for Bluetooth 4.0 (Bluetooth Smart)
USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter
The following adapters have been tested and are known to work with the KORG BLE-MIDI

For Bluetooth connection


Use Windows Bluetooth settings to connect the computer with the BLE-MIDI device.
Connection using the dedicated software that comes with the Bluetooth USB adapter is not
supported.

Driver installation
Run Setup.exe and follow the instructions to install.
In order to install or uninstall the driver, you must have full administrative privileges.
If you do not have the necessary privileges, please contact your system administrator.
Using the microKEY Air
First you need to connect Windows and the microKEY Air. We call this operation pairing.
1. Enable Bluetooth on the PC.
2. Select "Wireless" by the mode switch on the microKEY Air.

3. Click Bluetooth Devices button in the notification area, and then click Show Bluetooth
Devices.

4. Select "microKEY Air Ready to pair" in the list of Manage Bluetooth devices, and then
click [Pair].
5. After "Connected" is shown, the microKEY Air will be available.
6. Start the MIDI application, and assign MIDI IN and MIDI OUT ports.
Note: Use of multiple MIDI applications is not supported.
If the microKEY Air fails to connect to the PC when you launch the MIDI application, please
remove the microKEY Air from the list of Manage Bluetooth devices and pair the device again.
After installing the major update like Windows 10 Creators Update, please remove the all
BLE-MIDI devices previously paired from the list of Manage Bluetooth devices and pair the
devices again.
