From the very start of this essay, I learned how to write a 10 paragraph essay. My
previous essays have never been any more than 5-8 paragraphs. With the preliminary paragraphs,
there were not many things I needed to improve upon because I followed the rubric as much as
possible. Another reason why I did not need much improvement is because of the previous essay
we did in this course, which was the Rhetorical Analysis Essay. So, following the same rules and
writing style as the Rhetorical Essay allowed me to write the preliminary paragraphs well. The
way it changed from preliminary to rough draft is that I added more details to meet the word
count. Before, I fell under the required word count, so I added more facts and arguments, which I
feel helped my paper greatly. From the rough draft to the final draft, hardly any corrections were
made. The main thing was working on my work cited page and fixing any grammar mistakes I
may have made. In revising my essay, I feel that my group helped tremendously in improving it.
They were able to point out silly mistakes I made and helped me choose the best words and
sentences to make my essay the best it could be. Another thing that helped me with revising was
all the feedback I received from the professor. Feedback from the professor allowed me to find
mistakes she was grading and change my writing to the way she approved. I feel like this played
a big part in me getting the grade I have now. One main thing I can take away from completing
this essay is looking closely at your sources. When citing, you want to make sure you are getting
