INTRODUCTION
For inventory management processes, you need robust functionality for
managing your logistics facilities. Support for inventory management helps you
record and track materials on the basis of both quantity and value.

Warehouse inventory management functions cover internal warehouse movements

and storage.

Using this software we can reduce costs for warehousing, transportation, order
fulfillment, and material handling – while improving customer service.

You can significantly improve inventory turns, optimize the flow of goods, and
shorten routes within your warehouse or distribution center. Additional benefits of
inventory management include improved cash flow, visibility, and decision
making.

This software is user friendly and hence easy to use.

Employees can plan, enter, and document warehouse and internal stock
movements by managing goods receipts, goods, issues, storage, picking and
packing, physical stock transfers, and transfer postings.

1.2 Problem Definition

The two basic inventory decisions that managers face are:

 How much additional inventory to order or produce

 When to order or produce it

Although it is possible to consider these two decisions separately, they are so

closely related that a simultaneous solution is usually necessary.
This project is aimed at developing an inventory management processes, which is
robust in functionality for managing your logistics facilities. This will support the
inventory management and help you record and track materials on the basis of both
quantity and value.

1.3 Objective
 The main objective of this system is to keep records of the complete
inventory.
 It support for inventory management helps you record and track materials
on the basis of both quantity and value.
 It improves cash flow, visibility, and decision making.
 For warehouse management, you can track quantity and value of all your
materials, perform physical inventory, and optimize your warehouse
resources

1.4 Scope of the Project

The scope of this system is to provide user efficient working environment and
more output can be generated through this. This system provides user friendly
interface resulting in knowing each and every usability features of the system.

This system helps in tracking records so that past records can be verified through
them and one can make decisions based on the past records. This system completes
the work in a very less time resulting in less time consumption and high level of
efficiency.

This system is developed in such a way that even a naïve user can also operate the
system easily. The calculations are made very quickly and the records are directly
saved into databases and the databases can be maintained for a longer period of
time. Each record can be retrieved and can be verified for the future transactions.

Also this system provides high level of security for data leaking as only admin
people can access the database no changes can be made in it until it verifies the
user login id and password.
SYSTEM STUDY

2.1 Existing System:

Current system is a manual one in which users are maintaining ledgers,
books etc. to store the information like suppliers details, inwards, deliveries and
returns of items in all godowns, customer details as well as employee details. It is
very difficult to maintain historical data. Also regular investments need to purchase
stationary every year.

2.2 Proposed System:

Proposed system is a software application which avoids more manual hours that
need to spend in record keeping and generating reports. This application keeps the
data in a centralized way which is available to all the users simultaneously. It is
very easy to manage historical data in database. No specific training is required for
the employees to use this application. They can easily use the tool that decreases
manual hours spending for normal things and hence increases the performance.

As the data is centralized it is very easy to maintain the stocks of the various items
in all godowns.

ANALYSIS & DESIGN
3.1Feasibility Analysis

Study of requirement analysis is done through different feasibility study.

What is feasibility study?

 Feasibility study is carried out whenever there is complex problem or

opportunity.
 Feasibility study is undertaken whenever a possibility of probability
of improving the existing system or designing new system.
 Feasibility study is needed.
 To answer the question whether the new system is installed or not.
 Determine the potential of existing system.
 Improving the existing system.
 To know what should be embedded in new system.
 To avoid costly repairs in the system.
 To identify major objective of new system.

Following are the different feasibility studies

 Technical feasibility
 Economic feasibility
 Operation feasibility
 Technical Feasibility:

Technical feasibility it is a study of hardware and software requirement that is

technical requirements of the system. In order to inform the management and the
user about the requirement of technical resources.

 Economic Feasibility:

Economic feasibility it is a study of cost benefit of the system. Actual cost of the
system is calculated in the economical study to inform the management that this
much cost will be incurs to develop a new system.

System cost is first part to be studied before starting system design. To know the
total system cost is essential for any organization that is called cost benefit
analysis. So the actual cost of the system is important before designing new
system for how many years the system will prove beneficial to the organization is
studied in economical feasibility study.

The designed system will provide tangible as well as intangible benefit to the
organization. Tangible benefits are those, which can be in terms of money and
intangible are those, which can't be measure in terms of money.
The “Risk analysis Schedule System” is used to determine risk factor for any
project or module in website.

Our project is easy to use and cost effective. So our project is cost less than other
market project.

 Operational Feasibility:
Operation feasibility deals with risk factors. It checks the impact of the propose
software on required project or module. This system is being developed for
analyzing the packets and black listed IP addresses. As this system is generalize
one so anybody can use that. Here we are implementing this system module as one
of industry application, which is innovative and new advance concept, which
helps the user to use it more effectively and easily and instead always go for
system work. System will also be user friendly.

3.2 Entity Relationship Diagram

 The relation upon the system is structure through a conceptual ER-Diagram,

which not only specifics the existential entities but also the standard relations
through which the system exists and the cardinalities that are necessary for the
system state to continue.
 The entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) depicts the relationship between the
data objects. The ERD is the notation that is used to conduct the date modeling
activity the attributes of each data object noted is the ERD can be described
resign a data object descriptions.
 The set of primary components that are identified by the ERD are
Data object
Relationships
Attributes
Various types of indicators.
The primary purpose of the ERD is to represent data objects and their
relationships.
3.3Hardware & Software Requirements

 HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS:

 Processor Type : Core i3 processor

 Processor Speed : 2.0GHz
 RAM : 6GB
 Hard Disk : 500GB

 SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
 Operating System : Windows 7/8/8.1/10
 Language : Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
 Database(Backend) : MS Access 2007

Conclusion & Future Enhancement

It has been a great pleasure for me to work on this exciting and challenging
project. This project proved good for me as it provided practical knowledge of not
only programming in ASP.Net and MySQL web based application. It also provides
knowledge about the latest technology used in developing web enabled application
and client server technology that will be great demand in future. This will provide
better opportunities and guidance in future in developing projects independently.

The project includes that what all future enhancements can be done in this
system to make it more feasible to use

 Databases for different products range and storage can be provided.

 Multilingual support can be provided so that it can be understandable

by the person of any language.

 More graphics can be added to make it more user-friendly and

understandable.

 Manage & backup versions of documents online.
