been graduated on 12-03-2018, from College of Engineering and Emerging Technology (CEET),
University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. He has successfully passed all the subjects in the discipline
of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering. It is elucidated, NO Fail grade is mentioned on the transcript
of Mr. ANS.
In the interest of the service and to ensure that the undergrad grading system reflects the academic
standards of the University, it is hereby adopted the following criteria for grading student's
achievement or performance. Furthermore, it is indicating that there is no fail grade, and the back logo
mentioned on the official transcript.

Grading system
Equivalence in numerical grades, letter grades and grade points will be as follows:

1). The maximum possible Grade Point Average (GPA) is 4.00, and the minimum passing GPA is 1.0

for an individual subject.

2). The minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to validate the degree is 2.0.

3). If GPA/ CGPA of a student remains <1.0 the student shall be given one chance to repeat the

subject in order to improve CGPA in B.Sc. If GPA /CGPA of a student remain <2.0 he/ she shall be

dropped from studies

4). A fraction of the mark in a course is to be counted as '1' mark e.g. 64.1 or 64.9 is to be shown as

65.

5). In order to calculate the GPA, multiply grade point with the credit hours in each course to obtain

total grade points, add up to cumulative grade points and divide by the total number of credit hours to

get the GPA for a semester.
