Research Proposal COVID-19 Pandemic: Coping With Effects of Unemployment
Unemployment is one of the most important social problems in our country. The
jobs we do are much more than a way to provide for ourselves and our families. The
problem of unemployment gives rise to the problem of poverty. Millions of people
around the world are coping job loss caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. There are
many effects of being job loss caused by COVID-19 that leads to different mental health
problems.
1. What are the steps to manage your thoughts and emotions by being
unemployed?
This social issue compelling to me because of many people are job loss caused by
COVID-19. Many of them they doesn't know how to fill their basic needs because of job
loss and many people who experiencing many mental health problems caused by
COVID-19. As the researcher I want to help them in a simple way to encourage and
boast them to survive in life and to reduce their problem.
Concealed in us knowledge that the COVID-19 have a big negative impact in our
life. One of main problem that caused by COVID-19 is unemployment. Because of this
pandemic many people are suffering. In this pandemic we need to fight and make an
alternative ways to provide our basic needs and make some ways to overcome from
mental health problems and we take these feelings that it is normal to us to
experiencing these negative feelings particular to this pandemic.
V. Methodology
This research falls under the qualitative research design. By obtaining the effects
and experiences of people who loss their jobs caused by COVID-19. Interpretative
method is referred to qualitative research because this method is focused on exploring
and understanding a specific phenomenon in a comprehensive and hollistic manner.
The audiences are the people who loss their job caused by COVID-19 and to know
more their thoughts and feelings about the effects of COVID-19 to their life.
