Signal on alarm
A malfunction in the measuring equipment can be signaled
via the current outputs or the status output. The current
outputs can be set to an alarm signal of 2 mA or 22 mA. The
status output can be configured to N/C (normally closed) or
N/O (normally open).

Viscosity
The measured medium must be pumpable.
Gas content
No gas content is permitted when mass meters are used in
operating conditions for which calibration is mandatory.
In applications for which calibration is not mandatory, any
gas content in the liquid impairs the accuracy of the
measurement.
For the measurement of a liquid which has a gas content to
Support using wall supports work at all, there must be a uniform distribution of
very small gas bubbles through the liquid.
Larger gas bubbles immediately provoke serious
measurement errors and may even shift the zero point.
The size of the measurement error that occurs is therefore
dependent on the actual process conditions.
A general rule of thumb is: 1% gas content increases the
specified measurement error by 1%. The gas content may not
exceed 5%.
Pressure loss
The pressure loss for the different measured variables
depends on the throughput.
