What is Numerology?

We are just born, and we become numbers: we are a number for the hospital registry, for the civil
registry. We have a registration number at the school. Likewise, we are part of the demographic
statistics of a country. When we grow up we need a bank account number, a social security number.
We are controlled by means of a code, which is nothing more than a number. Our life could be
explained, and in fact it is explained, through the numbers.

Specifically: numbers rule our lives. This is a phenomenon that has been known from remote
cultures, founding cultures of Westernism, among others. Sages of all times observed the influence
of numbers in people's lives. In fact, among the metaphysical disciplines, such as tarot, astrology,
palmistry, numerology stands out, which precisely focuses on trying to find and describe the
principles and laws, the cause-effect relationship, of numbers to the world. Pythagoras was one of
the first to establish and develop a theory based on numerology, called "the harmony of the
spheres", a series of postulates that consist in explaining that the universe is governed by
harmonious numerical proportions.

But what is numerology? Grounded in empirical and scientific, ancient and contemporary
knowledge, beliefs and traditions, numerology is a divinity practice that establishes a mystical
relationship between numbers and living beings, as well as physical and spiritual forces. In ancient
times it was even treated as a science by the first mathematicians, but today its use in the scientific

The objective of numerology is to find answers through the relationships that a person has with
numbers, under the understanding that each number carries a meaning and also includes certain
characteristics, that is, it designates things. And how would the numbers that relate to a person be

that results from adding the digits of our date of birth until they are reduced to just one: 9-8-1979

these numbers must add their digits until they are reduced to any of the basic numbers. The master
numbers, that is, 11 and 22 are the only exception to this rule and suggest great potential for
