1- Dust Suppression System.
1.1- Dry Fog (With compressed air atomizer)
Dust Suppression Air atomizers use compressed air to spray water in form of fine fog that create fine droplet blanket over the enclosed dust emission source. Fugitive dust particulate and Droplet get collide together resulting dust particulate get heavier and settle down on material stream. This system uses low water pressure approx. 1-2 kg/cm2.
1.2- Plain Water Dust Suppression
Water spray nozzles spray water on material in controlled way to add some moisture into material stream, so that dust generation tendency of material gets reduced at forwarding transfer point. This system uses water pressure approx. 5-10 kg/cm2.
1.3- Water Sprinkler Dust Suppression
This system used at stockpiles to wet upper layer of stacked material to stop wind erosion of dust due to wind current. Considering water conservation, we may also use some resin/starch to be crusting of upper layer of material to restrict wind erosion until material lifting or further stacking on it.

1.4- High Pressure (Cold Fog) Dust
Suppression In this system, water sprayed at high pressure approx. 15-20 kg/cm2 to generate fine fog blanket over enclosed dust emission source like Dry Fog Dust Suppression and works on same principle.
2- Dust/Fume/Gas Extraction System
Various industrial processes emit different type of pollutants like dust, fume, and gases. Best practice is exhaust/extract/capture pollutants from its source by providing enclosures and suction hoods at emission source/process. Exhausted pollutant must be collected or blow out to atmosphere at enough high, so they do not impure breathing air of work zone.
3- Industrial Ventilation System
Some work zone needs ventilation to avoid suffocation and heat in industries. Work zone air exhausted through duct network and blow out to atmosphere and fresh and filtered air from atmosphere supplied into work zone.

4- Bag Filter (Pulse Jet/Reverse Air)
This equipment is used to separate particulate from gas stream. Particulate laden gas stream enter into the Dirty Air Plenum and goes to Clean Air Plenum through the vertically hanging fabric filter, after leaving the particulate on the filter fabric. In continues process, filter layer get clogged due to collected particulate layer, resulting differential pressure across the DAP & CAP increased and filters need to be clean by Pulse Jet Air or Reverse Air. Particulate layer dislodged, fall down into the bottom hopper and discharge by air locking arrangement.
5- Cyclone/Settling Chamber Dust Collector.
In settling chamber, particulate laden gases enter into the large cross sectional area chamber, gases velocity get low and due to gravitational force particulates get settle down into the bottom hopper.
In of cyclone collector, centrifugal forces also
apply on particulates, due to circular movement of gases. Collected particulate discharges from the bottom hopper through air locking arrangement.
6- Wet Scrubber 6.1- Spray Chamber
The particulate laden gas enters the Vertical
Spray Chamber and flow vertically where it comes in contact of scrubbing liquid which is sprayed through nozzles mounted at top of the tower. Particulate in gas, captured as comes in contact with water droplets through impaction, interception and diffusion.

The gas is then allowed to pass through mist
eliminator for separation of entrained liquid droplets from gas stream. The clean gas then allowed for discharge to atmosphere and collected particulate discharge from bottom hopper, in form of slurry.
6.2- Sieve Tray
Particulate laden gas enters into vertical chamber
from the bottom and flow upward. Gases pass through a horizontal perforated plate, on which some flowing water head is maintained, gas steam passes from small orifice, atomize water and leaves particulates in water, flowing water drain out the contaminated water from the bottom hopper, clean gasses below out to atmosphere.
6.3- Dynamic Scrubber
The particulate laden gases enter in the
Centrifugal Fan which is used as gas mover and a collection device. Water is sprayed at the eye of fan impeller, some particulate are initially removed as they pass across the liquid sprays, liquid droplets then impact on the impeller plate and blade, resulting droplet get atomized and collect fine particulate in fan scroll.

6.4- Wet Cyclones
It is a tangential cyclone collector employed with
water spray at the top of cyclone. Particulate get collected through centrifugal force, gravitational force and agglomeration with water droplet. collected particulate discharge from bottom, in form of slurry and clean gas below out to atmosphere.
6.5- Venturi Scrubber
The particulate laden gas enters the converging
section followed by venturi throat, where the velocity of the gas increases to its maximum. Scrubbing liquid is injected in the gas stream before or within throat. The scrubbing liquid is atomized by the turbulence in the throat improving gas-liquid contact.
The gas-liquid mixture then decelerates and it
moves through the diverging section causing additional particle-droplet impacts and agglomeration of the droplets.

6.6- Packed Bed Tower
Packed-bed scrubber consist of a chamber
containing layers of packing that provide a large surface area for liquid- gas contact. Scrubbing liquid is evenly introduced above the packing due to which liquid coats the packing and establishes a thin film.
Gas stream is forced to pass through these packs
where thin liquid film on the packing react with gas and flows down to the bottom discharge cone.
Clean gas then proceed to the mist eliminator
positioned above/after the packing and scrubbing liquid supply for separation of entrained liquid droplets from gas.
The clean gas then allowed for discharge to
atmosphere through stack.
