Course Introduction: Introduction to IoT on Netacad.


I have a lot of experiences on system design and development using different programming like
python, java, and C# in past, so I was in search of advanced and updated online course like IoT.
Then finally I got this course on CISCO NETA CAD. It is 25 hours course, which consist of six
different chapters and final assessment. Each chapter has different level of tutorial and related
assessment.

4. Introduction to IOT-Chapter 4
5. Introduction to IoT - Chapter 5
6. Introduction to IoT - Chapter 6

From each I have gain a lot of knowledges about internet of things. Basically, this course is
focused on how IoT and digital transformation are positively impacting on business and
government. Also, it explains the important of software and data for digital business and
society. I got the knowledge regarding benefits of automation and artificial intelligence for
digital transformation. It also explains the concepts of Intent based networking and need for
enhanced security in the digitized world.

SFIA Skills related to Engagement activity.


This activity basically related to different aspect of the SFIA skills frameworks, programming skills and
different levels of system design using IoT.

Software Design: Level 2- Introduction of IoT course is basically concerned with the application of
software design technique. It consists of different level of tutorial with help to develop skills on software
design.

System Design: Level 2. Introduction of IoT course helps to creates and documents detailed for simple
software application by applying agreed modelling techniques, standards, patterns, and tools. It
contributes to the design of components of larger software system.

Testing Level1: Introduction of IoT also involves on basic level of testing, which helps to identified
different bugs on system design and implementation. Testing consists of Alpha testing, Beta testing and
Grey box testing. I did different level of testing inside this modelling. I also design different test case
scenario and test report.

Connection to ACS CBoK Knowledge


The introduction to IoT coursed includes different aspects of CBoK. Use of different technique like
command line, text editor, programming tools, database tools are the important technique learn fro this
course. The connection of different elements and implementation of sensors in them also adds a sense
of digital intelligence in particular devices. It helps to communicate in real time data without the touch of
human being.

Reflection
I have done different online course on different programming language and database management
system. But this course has different reflection on me. I got reflection of different system design principle
and uses on them on real worlds.

Basically, this course is focused on how IoT and digital transformation are positively impacting
on business and government. Also, it explains the important of software and data for digital
business and society. I got the knowledge regarding benefits of automation and artificial
intelligence for digital transformation. It also explains the concepts of Intent based networking
and need for enhanced security in the digitized world.
