This document discusses climate change and its causes and effects. It begins by outlining the student's plan to research climate change for a school-based assessment using online sources. It then defines climate change as significant long-term changes in the global climate system. One of the main drivers of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels, which increases greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Climate change affects the environment by causing issues like rising sea levels and more extreme weather events.

CLIMATE CHANGE
ENGLISH SBA Plan of investigation
The sub topic climate change is an is an issue that
not a lot of people know about that is why I decided to research this topic. A lot of persons are affected by climate change on a day-to-day basis.
As a student of English, I expect to improve my
writing and reading compression skills by arranging this school-based assessment, I intend to collect information about my SBA by doing my research on YouTube or on the internet. What is climate change
According to google climate change refers to
significant, long-term changes in the global climate. The global climate is the connected system of sun, earth and oceans, wind, rain and snow, forests, deserts and savannas, and everything people do, too. The climate of a place, say New York, can be described as its rainfall, changing temperatures during the year and so on. But the global climate is more than the “average” of the climates of specific places. A description of the global climate includes how, for example, the rising temperature of the Pacific feeds typhoons which blow harder, drop more rain and cause more damage, but also shifts global ocean currents that melt Antarctica ice which slowly makes sea level rise until New York will be under water. It is this systemic connectedness that makes global climate change so important and so complicated It is this systemic connectedness that makes global climate change so important and so complicated.
What are some causes of climate change
There is an overwhelming scientific consensus that global warming is mostly man-made: 97% of climate scientists have come to this conclusion. One of the biggest drivers by far is our burning of fossil fuels – coal, gas and oil – which has increased the concentration of greenhouse gases – such as carbon dioxide – in our atmosphere. This, coupled with other activities like clearing land for agriculture, is causing the average temperature of our planet to increase. In fact, scientists are as certain of the link between greenhouse gases and global warming as they are of the link between smoking and lung cancer.
How does climate change affect the environment?
Reflection 1
I have seen how climate change affects
the world and the environment. I personally have contributed to this problem. Climate change can be found everywhere but can mostly be found in major city. Climate change is mostly happening in big countries like: JAPAN, USA and the UK.
