Assignment #2: Reflection

"Technology as one of the Keys to Success"

Right when I was born Technology has been there. Technology is


everywhere, it helped the human race to be more productive. It lessens
our works in everyday life, in work, in school and even in our kitchens.
Now, in midst of Covid-19, Technology Integration rose up again.
Whereas it became the number one solution in Education to pursue
student's studies to avoid getting the virus or to create more unnecessary
harm to humans. Technology created a bridge to improve Teachers and
student’s collaboration, it made it more advance or high tech. Like, on
the Advancement of Communication in where you can just easily
disseminate information through emails, texts etc. Also, you can
FaceTime with the students virtually. To teachers, technology lessen
their works especially in grading and more. To students it improves
their critical thinking because when it comes to technology example
computers everything you see in there is colorful in where students can
focus their attention in it and after it, they can justify, analyze and
evaluate.
In conclusion, the lesson "Technology Integration in Instruction"
made my thoughts more secure, it adds more contexts and lessen the
doubt of this "Online Class". But as we all agree in Technology's
assistance in our life today let's not forget that in any concept there is
disadvantage.
Assignment #3: Demonstration
On the given Learning Material (Lesson 2- Integration of Technology in Instruction), present and
demonstrate a specific technology which can be integrated in a learning activity.
Demonstration Guidelines:
1. Presentation & Demonstration is group activity (based on your assigned group)
2. Choose a specific learning activity anchored to your field of specialization.
3. On that learning activity, utilize any form of technology that will help make the learning
process more interactive and convey learning to students.
4. Presentation and demonstration could be in a form of role play as to recognize the role of each
member in the group.
5. Each group is given 7-10mins to present and demonstrate (via Google Meet or Messenger
Room)
Note: Make sure to follow the Rubrics
Summary
In our roleplay, we portrayed Reymilyn Tayros as the Teacher, Jamica Tangaro as the
Superintendent, Sofia Mae Guibone and Happy Sweet Casas as the learners. We chose this style
or theme because it is our field of specialization, and the technology that is being integrated here
are Smartphones whereas the teacher and learners used it to communicate and get on their class,
but of course, first, the parents of the learners we're guided(act). The teacher (Reymilyn)
welcomed her learners, and talk about the situations why can't they go to school and not do a
face to face class, after it the teacher still did the things they do in personal class like opening
prayers and do energizers. Next the teacher

"Animals" and after it the teacher gave a learning activity named "Named that Animal" in where
it became more Interactive because the animals that the learners have seen are moving. For the
Ending the learners and the teacher has achieved advanced collaboration and the learners made
used of their critical thinking.

demonstration I’ve learn more about the Integration of
Technology in Education on how it is being manifested.
And in by- group demonstration I’ve seen that there are so
many examples on how we are already using a technology
in education or in classroom all in all I am amaze💗
Performance Task

The main objective of this task is to develop the creativity and critical thinking
skills of the students.
is a group task.
Each group is assigned to demonstrate a topic listed below:

actual demonstration during the presentation.

Our group was assigned to Microsoft Word.
What is Microsoft Word?
Word or MS-WORD (often called Word) is a Graphical word processing
program that users can type with. It is made by the computer company Microsoft.
Its purpose is to allow users to type and save documents. Similar to other word
processors, it has helpful tools to make documents.

What is your reflection on each topic presented tonight?
Every groups presentation really made a good job for
today. And in every Presentations my idea of that certain
software or application has been filled once more. For the
Publication group, I’ve understood that there are so many more
about publisher, I’m glad that they showed every icon for us to
understand. For the Internet Navigation, well the app or software
that they use is chrome, and as we all know that, chrome is
already well known so me for me their presentation is great for
us, their presentation acts like a refreshment for us, especially
on the icons and buttons that they've shown, even they've not
finished it I know they tried their best, signal won’t just
cooperate. And to the last group, which is my, our group, I am
so happy that we made it even there are some technical issues
we still made it. editing the videos was fun and I am so glad that
we shared laughter’s.

What is your reflection on the presented/demonstrated topic?
This was an Oral but I remember my question and it is;
What have you understood in the report of group Excel?

My answer:
We've known Excel as a very tricky application/software in
where there are so many tabs, icons and shortcuts such as codes
to apply. To their report, I am glad that they presented it one by
one, I mean tab by tab and show some examples of codes to
apply.

To your report, it gave me more knowledge or ideas about this Education

1. Do you agree that Education is our weakness? For me, no because Education
is the central of our success. In Education we can communicate with others
to gain knowledge, in education we can listen and learn and in education we
can find our talents. It is not our weakness if so, it is the challenges within
education.
2. What is changing demographic? And what is your viewpoint about this -
changing demographic describes a population's age structure adjusting to
changes in living conditions. Consequently, changes in the composition of a
society's age structure are the result of social shifts. in my viewpoint these
are changes that we should adjust example in learning, curriculum is
changing and so school teachers should adjust.
3. How can ADDURI model help to improve the Distance Education
Technologies and Implementation - for me the ADDURI can indeed help
Distance Education Technologies and Implementation because in these
ADDURI, it has the steps to be productive or have a successful learning.
4. IF YOU WOULD GIVEN A CHANCE TO CHOOSE, TRADITIONAL
CLASS OR DISTANCE EDUCATION? WHY OR WHY NOT - I would
choose the traditional class, because in traditional class we can communicate
with our classmates without choppy lines, i mean physical is so much better
than virtual.
5. Do you agree that younger teacher is better than the older teachers? Why? -
In my own opinion, older teachers (not so old) are better because older
teachers have already been to the hardships of teaching and all the facts or
contexts that they’ve acquired from their younger years can now be shared
to their new students.

My Answer:
In your report, I learned that Faculties in School really plays an important
role when it comes to Distance Education. Actually it doesn’t really hard to find
the difference even if it’s online or in actual personal. The group’s report made my
mind refreshed. I also learned new things about Funding Operation in Distance
Education.

your own class in Google Classroom. To be more realistic consider the following requirements:

What is your reflection on the last topic presented?


It was our report and my answer for this was:
What I found interesting about this Adobe Captivate Prime
is that its unique from other LMS though it’s a little pricy. Its
features can be really useful to instructors and Learners. It’s like
an all Google Apps combined.

My Answer:
Modes of Teaching as a training tool for Teachers. I have
read that modes of teaching and all I can say is it is good and
very helpful not just for teachers, but also for Leaners. By
these Modes of Teaching, everything that is being teach by
teachers can reflection on the learners. To Teachers it can
improve and guide them in their teaching methods.

My Answer:
Curriculum development is a process of improving the
curriculum. Various approaches have been used in developing
curricula. Commonly used approaches consist of analysis,
design, selecting formation and review.

My Answer:

There are different types of factors that can help the


delivery of curriculum effective. It includes the Teacher,
Learners, Resource Materials and Facilities, School
Environment, Culture and Ideology, Instructional Supervision
and the Assessment. We have the teacher because they are the
one who implements that curriculum. We also have the learners
because they are the whole point of it, they are the establisher.
Next we have the resource materials and facilities, so These
materials are used by educators to develop curricula and lesson
plans and may also be used in actual instructional situations.

How do you define Learning?
My Answer:
For me ma’am, learning is training either enhancing and
gaining. Enhancing your capabilities, skills, talents etc. other is
gaining... gaining knowledge, attitudes, making collaboration
through friendships etc. This is learning.

Maturation as one of the driving forces that bring changed of

Upon learning the concept of Learning and Maturation now I can


tell that these two are different in terms of its meaning when we say
maturation it is the development of your mind in your own body or in
your own thinking. And when we say learning it is the time when you
can acquire things/learning to your surroundings by observing, training,
enhancing knowledges, skills and many more. And when we say
learning and maturation as one of the driving forces that bring changed
of behavior, we can say that as we grow up, we tend to learn new things,
acquire new things and enhanced things, we can now understand how
the world rotates meaning WELCOME TO THE REALITY by that we
matured.
We learn things that are not just about physically but also mentally
and emotionally through our hard works we achieved our goals through
overcoming problems, problems that brings anxiety, depressions and
more. Just like me, once upon a time I was just a little girl enjoying
things that I like and love. But as I grew up knowing/ learning a bit of
reality in this world I get depress, upon understanding something easily,
sometimes brings hurt. From a little girl enjoying things to a woman
who has been through a lot. By that I can say that I am a survivor of
these learning and maturity in this world. Thank you.
