ACTIVITY 1
When a sender expresses an emotion or feeling, generates an idea, or senses the need
to communicate, communication occurs. When the sender makes a conscious or
unconscious decision to share the message with another person—the receiver—the
communication process begins. If you follow a simple process, effective communication
can be achieved that enables you and the recipient to understand exactly what you are
trying to communicate. Communicating allows people to express their ideas and feelings
while also allowing us to understand the emotions and thoughts of others. As a result,
we will develop affection or hatred for other people, and we will form positive or
negative relationships.
There are two types of communication systems for human beings. The nervous system
and the hormone system are the same. The systems regulate the processes of the body
by means of chemical and electrical signals between the cells. The paths are different for
each system for this communication. Two types of communication system within the
human body are the nervous and the endocrine systems. They integrate, coordinate and
respond to sensory information the human body receives.
