PRECAUTIONS AND SAFETY MEASURES FOR SURVEYING LAB

HAZARDS CAUSED DURING THE LAB:


1. Cuts, scrapes, infections, sprains and strains would all be common.
2. During cutting vegetation to clear sight lines, injuries will be caused by cutting tools.
3. Climatic changes will affect the health of the surveyor.
4. Heavy instruments will cause great injuries.

PRECAUTIONS TO BE TAKEN:
1. Report any perceived safety hazards.
2. Take observations effectively.
3. Wear shoes and apron.
4. Readings should be taken without any parallax error.
5. Obstacles should be avoided.

MEASURES TO BE TAKEN IN CASE OF EMERGENCY:


1. Keep yourself and others safe- Be aware of your own and others safety.
2. Know emergency procedures surrounding you.
3. Know the hazards of any materials or machines with which you are working.
