The Evaluation for Content of Teaching Modules is based on the following criteria:

I. Organization of Objectives and activities


 Are objectives clearly stated in the beginning of modules?

 Do the activities adhere to goals?

 Are the lessons and activities correctly sequenced such that it is ensured
that the student is able to answer the next lesson because he or she has
been prepared and taught by the previous lesson the necessary concepts
and principles for the next lesson?

 Are the links for required reading resources such as video, articles, activities
well placed and clearly written in the modules understanding that there are
students unable to attend class discussions through Zoom because of their
chosen mode of learning or because of inconsistent internet connectivity?
II. Cohesiveness of Lessons and Activities

 Are the discussions, research and activities aligned with each other such
that at the end of each module, the student can identify one unifying
theme and see the connection and relevance of the lesson and
activities?

 Is there continuity and connection between all the lessons so that the
students’ learning will be integrated and not segmented?
III. Practical Relevance of Activities

 Do questions compel or initiate inspired action from the students to apply


to his personal or community life?

 Are discussions or activities current and have the potential to connect to


the students based on the learning mindsets?

The following 4 questions were posed for the Teacher trainees to evaluate their
own modules:

1. What is your module all about?


2. What is/are the objectives of your module?
3. What is/ are required to achieve the objectives of your module?
4. What does your module inspire your students to do? (inspired action to
self or community)

The following 3 questions were suggested as a guide to deepen their students’


knowledge and comprehension of their modules:
1. What have you learned from the lesson? What insights or realizations
have you gained?
2. Why is this important? What makes this relevant for you?
3. How can you apply this in your daily personal and community life?
