2 Introduction
2.1 Overview – The Product
Time and attendance affects everything in your business – from budgets to profits to compliance.
LiveAmins© created LES Application that makes it easy for you to track time & save money. LES is a web
based employee timesheet management tool that automates time collection, leave management and
approval processes which works with LES windows application.
LES provides online timesheet reporting, leave management, online pay stubs, a seamless interface to your
accounting systems, break-time, and ad-hoc data analysis.
2.2 Overview – The Guide
This guide assumes that the Employee has already installed and configured LES Windows Application as
described.
This user guide explains the different types of functionalities available within the application and how each
user (Employee) can use this application effectively.

3 Application – Startup
Launch the LES windows application by clicking the shortcut icon on your desktop. This will open the
application, as shown below.

You will have to key in login Username and Password. For example they are:
Password: “welcome”
Click the Login button to mark your attendance in LES application. You will see the following screen.

On LES main screen you can see Login Time, Shift Timing, Total Duration, Current Break Time and Breaks Total
Time.
Login Time: Login Time is when you login into the application from LES Windows application and it will mark
your attendance start time.
Shift Timing: Shift Timing shows the shift start and end time that have been associated with you.
Total Duration: Total duration shows the total time you are available on the LES Windows application from
Login Time to current time.
Current Break Time: It will show you your current break time duration if any break has been applied.
Breaks Total Time: It will show you total time that have been consumed in breaks.
4 Breaks
4.1 Employee Break
Employee can mark break by clicking Take a Break button on LES application as shown below

After clicking that button you will be represented with a pop-up where you can select nature of break
(Break Type) and add comments to it as shown below.

Click Take a Break to start your break time.

After clicking the button Current Break Timer will increase per second and there will be a message appear
at bottom of the screen that acknowledges you to click End Break to stop break time.

4.2 Inactivity Break
If system (PC) remains inactive for 15 minutes there is no interaction with the system, inactivity break
would be marked on LES application, a prompt will appear when inactivity break marked where you can
click End Break button to stop inactivity break time as shown below.

If inactivity remains for 1 hour from when the inactivity break is marked, user will be logged out of
application automatically, login again whenever desired.
4.3 Manual Logout Break
If user logout LES and re-login after some interval then manual logout break will be added.
4.4 Crash Break
If there is any network or application crash then application will automatically logs a Crash break.
5 Breaks Log
The Breaks Logs represents breaks taken by the user, type of break and total time of break.
Breaks Log will be represented, as shown below.

5.1 Breaks Log on Web Panel
To view breaks on web panel just click Breaks Log link in LES application as shown below.

You will be represented with attendance module on web browser automatically after clicking Get
Attendance button you will be represented with your attendance and your breaks are also shown there as
seen in below screenshot.

6 Profile Management
User can access profile by clicking profile name link.

6.1 Change Password
You can change password here and change your profile picture. To change password just key in new
password in Password field, as shown below.

After keying in your new password click on Update Profile button to save your new password, a success
message will appear as shown below.

6.2 Change Profile Image
User can also change its profile image by clicking Choose File button where you can upload image for your
profile after selecting image file click Update Profile button to save your profile image and update on the
web panel and LES windows application.
*Image file size should be less than 2MB.
7 Logout
User can logout LES when its shift time over or completed working time (e.g 9 Hours) by clicking Logout
button in LES windows application, as shown below.

Logout time will be considered as checkout time at the end of the day.
