Objective
The objective of the study is to check the
awareness of the product provided by
NIKE INC.. In INDIA

In addition , it also tries to understand the


relationship between customer and
product. And which category get benefited
with the product.
The company was founded on January 25,
1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill
Bowerman and Philip knight and officially
became Nike, Inc. in 1978.

Nike operates within the sports footwear


and apparel market. Originally designing
and producing running shoes, their
portfolio has
broadened to include a wide range of
sports and leisure wear.

Within the INDIA there are 2000 stores
that retail Nike products. These are well
established channels.

exceeds sales in the United States with
only 43% of the company’s sales coming
from the US.

Opportunities Facing Nike In The Future
In future, Nike will be facing great
opportunities backed up with the company’s
2008 financial success. The company will
continue to implement its corporate
projects and programmes to suit the
demand and social needs of its worldwide
customers. Though, the main emphasis will
be put on promotions and so new
sponsorship agreements will be concluded
with the rising stars.
 After the analysis It was observed that
Nike product range is expensive i.e not
suitable for middle class families as they
can’t it afford easily.
 Most of the products are strictly sports
based & is generally suitable to
sportsperson.
SUGGESTION
Possible Challenges For Nike in the
Future
 It is rather difficult to predict
corporate challenges to be faced by the
company considering the overall
adverse affects of global financial
crisis.
 Overall, it is apparent that Nike has a
solid potential background to hold
strong competitive stance in the future.
