Ex-1.1: Enter the above data in a SPSS data file (care: Examine the properties of each variable before you begin)

Ex-1.2: Carry out requisite operations to find out mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum and range for all the scale variables.

Ex-1.3: Find frequency distribution of the categorical variables.

Ex-1.4: Find median, quartiles, 25th , 35th and 50th percentiles of the scale variables.

Ex-1.5: Categorize the current and starting salary in three categories. [above Rs. 50,000(1); Rs. 20,000- 50,000 (2) and below Rs. 20,000(3)].

Ex-1.6: Sort the cases for Current salary in descending order.

Ex-1.7: Compute Body Mass Index (BMI) for all the employees. (Hint: BMI is computed as the ratio of weight in kilogram and square of height
in meter.)
