This program has been developed for candidates preparing for the
Part I Examination of Applied Imaging Technology
(Part I Physics for Radiologists).

RANZCR Applied Imaging Technology (Physics) Course 2021
Timetable
The course is designed to cover the syllabus for Part 1 of the RANZCR Fellowship (diagnostic) examination. It will
finish before applications are announced and interviews held for 2022 posts.

The format is lectures based on the syllabus. Two slots are set aside at the end of the course for a “mock / trial”
exam and a review of the exam. The mock exam will be shorter, but on the style of the RANZCR exam with MCQ
and short answer components and will be held in the second last session (29 June), with results and exam
technique discussed in the last session (6 July). Exam completion and attendance certificates will be provided on
the last day for those who meet the minimum requirements.

Lecture time Tuesday evenings - generally 6 - 8pm, but some lectures may run past 8pm.
Location: Seminar Room 1, Radiology Department, Westmead Hospital.
