Updating Camera Firmware for PowerScan

version X.340
1) Turn off your ScanPro before installing PowerScan software.
2) Install PowerScan software.
3) When software installation completes, turn on ScanPro.
4) Navigate to the FirmwareUpdater_Wizard.exe and shown below.

5) Double click “FirmwareUpdater_Wizard.exe” and the window below will appear.


6) Click “Next” and the window below will appear.

7) Click “Check For New Firmware” and the “Firmware File”, “FPGA File”, and “XML File” text boxes will be populated
as show below.
8) Click “Program Camera” and the warning below will appear.

9) Click “OK” and programming of the camera will begin. First the Firmware, then the FPGA, and lastly the XML. Do
not interrupt this process. Be patient. When it is nearly finished the following window will appear as it attempts to
verify the update and communicate with the camera.

10) When finished the window will appear as below.

11) Click “Exit” to finish.


12) You may now start PowerScan and use your ScanPro.
