Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) (A=Affective domain, C=Cognitive domain)

CLO1: Demonstrate that planning, organization and leading are crucial segments of engineering
management and applying the knowledge of these fundamental functions has a deep impact on providing
robust engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts for sustainable development. (Level
C3)

CLO2 Demonstrate that controlling in engineering management has direct impact on activities carried
out by an engineering manager to assess and regulate work in progress, organize the available resources,
evaluate results for the purpose of securing and maintaining maximum productivity, and reduce and
prevent unacceptable performance. (Level C3)

CLO3: Illustrate the norms and skills such as creativity, innovation, operational excellence and ethics
possessed by STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) professionals and managers, which
enable them to take various leadership positions to address local and global challenges. (Level C4)
CLO4: Identify engineering manager’s role in the management hierarchy, both at formal/informal level
in a multifaceted and/or multidisciplinary setting. (Level A5)

CLO5: Synthesize effective and critical reports on engineering management case studies and give oral
presentation. (Level A4)
