Situation Behavior and Phenomena


1. Taking self portrait is Alyssa’s

Direction. Create a short story that consist of 5 to 10 sentences base on the given scene below and how
this phenomenon of change happening in the society nowadays affects one’s morals and values as a
Filipino.

One day there was a girl whose name is Amanda; she is a loving and caring friend. She was and
always is they’re for her friends. She and her friends go to the same school and they always spend most of
their times with each other. Amanda is kind of an off-grid girl. She prefers a personal interaction with her
friends and she’s not fond in playing online games. There was this virus and suddenly the whole world
was on lockdown and Amanda and her friends was kind of separated but with the help of technology she
and her friends could still communicate with each other through social media. As time pass by, her
friends found this game, they spent hours and hours playing it because at the same time they could also
talk to each other. Amanda being an off-grid girl she wasn’t in with the online games and all but it was
okay with her. After months and months of playing, her friends almost never talk to her anymore in social
media as if Amanda was gone. She was hurt and felt lonely but she never talks about this with her friends
until one day, they never even let her in their life as if Amanda never exists. The End.
