He was a Texas-born singer and pastor's son whose musical talents were discovered at age 18 when he began performing with legendary quartets. He joined the Bill Gaither Trio in 1977 and helped form the original Gaither Vocal Band. Throughout his career he recorded over 30 albums and was inducted into gospel music halls of fame three times. Today he and his wife Carol continue a music and ministry career around the world.

Gary joined the Bill Gaither Trio in 1977 and, after


performing all over the world and recording numerous
albums with the Trio, became a member of the original
Gaither Vocal Band at its inception. He recorded 16
solo albums, more than 30 albums during his years with

Gary McSpadden was a Texas-born pastor’s son


whose musical family equipped him to make a
powerful impact on the world through music and
ministry. His golden voice was discovered at the early
age of eighteen, when he began to rise through
the ranks of the most legendary quartets of the day,
including the Statesmen Quartet, Oak Ridge Boys, and
the Imperials during their years as back-up singers for
Elvis Presley.

Gary joined the Bill Gaither Trio in 1977 and, after


performing all over the world and recording numerous
albums with the Trio, became a member of the original
Gaither Vocal Band at its inception. He recorded 16
solo albums, more than 30 albums during his years with
the Trio, GVB and other groups.

He was inducted into the Texas Gospel Music Hall of


Fame in 1989, and is a three-time inductee into the
Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, in 1998, 1999
and 2000, for his founding work with the Imperials, the
Bill Gaither Trio and the Oak Ridge Boys, respectively.
Gary is also a Dove Award-winning producer, who
worked with The Cathedrals, The Talleys, Lulu Roman
and other gospel favorites. He has hosted live musical
shows for countless thousands at Silver Dollar City, the
Americana Theater and various other theatres in the
Branson, Missouri area.

Throughout his illustrious career, Gary has consistently


folded together his musical gifts with his heart for
ministry in teaching roles, pastoral ministry and as a
television host for various Christian television networks
and satellite stations.

Today Gary and his wife, Carol, travel extensively

Gary joined the Bill Gaither Trio in 1977 and, after


performing all over the world and recording numerous
albums with the Trio, became a member of the original
Gaither Vocal Band at its inception. He recorded 16
solo albums, more than 30 albums during his years with
the Trio, GVB and other groups.

He was inducted into the Texas Gospel Music Hall of


Fame in 1989, and is a three-time inductee into the
Gospel Music Association Hall of Fame, in 1998, 1999
and 2000, for his founding work with the Imperials, the
Bill Gaither Trio and the Oak Ridge Boys, respectively.
Gary is also a Dove Award-winning producer, who
worked with The Cathedrals, The Talleys, Lulu Roman
and other gospel favorites. He has hosted live musical
shows for countless thousands at Silver Dollar City, the
Americana Theater and various other theatres in the
Branson, Missouri area.

Throughout his illustrious career, Gary has consistently


folded together his musical gifts with his heart for
ministry in teaching roles, pastoral ministry and as a
television host for various Christian television networks
and satellite stations.

Today Gary and his wife, Carol, travel extensively


together taking music and ministry far and wide
while supporting mission work in Haiti, Spain, Northern
Ireland, Romania, China and Russia.
