    GRADUATE TRAINEES

     Civil Engineering
     Information Technology

    THE LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME.

     The purpose of the graduate learnership programme is to train and develop individuals on a 2 year
    structured programme.
     At the end of the learnership programme candidates will be expected to demonstrate high level of
    competency and be ready for Junior Managerial Roles.
     Employment at Unki at the end of the Learnership Programme is not guaranteed.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

     2.1 Degree Class or Better in the relevant field.


     Aged 25 years and below.
     Must be able to work under pressure with minimum supervision

    APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMME

     Auto Electrician
     Diesel Plant fitting
     Boilermaker

    THE TRAINING

     Identified candidates will go through a structured 4 year programme leading to the attainment of a
    Class 1 Certificate as well as a National Craft Certificate in the requisite trade.

    EXPECTATIONS

     To successfully complete the apprenticeship within the scheduled time frame.


     Be willing and able to work shifts, be on standby and respond to call outs when required.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

     Five ‘O’ Levels including English, Mathematics and a Science subject.


     Clearance Letter for the trade applied for from the Registrar of Apprenticeship.
     Be 25 years of age and below.
     Experience in mining is an added advantage.
     Certificate of fitness
