II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION


Paint my Dreams encourages students in Manila interested in arts to unleash their creativity amidst the
pandemic. Painting and tutoring sessions will be held by hosts which will teach the beneficiaries
techniques to enhance their art. This project creates an environment wherein one can express themselves
through painting. The paintings to be created are then sold, in accordance with the painter’s will.
Likewise, the funds earned through this project will go to the artists and also serve as help to the out-of-
school youth. This project leaves them with a skill they can use anytime throughout their lives.

III. PROJECT RATIONALE


There are a lot of students who experience anxiety nowadays due to the pandemic. Likewise, many
children are unable to go to school and continue their education due to financial restraints. They are most
often either left with nothing to do, loitering around, or are forced to work beyond their capabilities as
they have no other choice. This project brings out the creativity of the out-of-school youth through
painting sessions. Paintings to be created throughout the project will be sold, with the funds serving as
financial aid to the out-of-school youth.

IV. PROJECT BENEFICIARIES


Students interested in art and the out-of-school youth in Tondo, Manila who cannot study, mainly due to
financial restraints.

V. PROJECT OBJECTIVES
Paint My Dreams aims to:
• To unleash the creativity of students and the out-of-school youth in Tondo, Manila through
painting sessions
• To help the out-of-school youth financially by giving them funds earned throughout the project
• To impart skills among the students and out-of-school youth which they can use throughout their
lives
