VEHICLE MANEGMENT SYSTEM

Chapter 1

ABSTRACT

Introduction:
Use of computer is becoming not only necessary but also essential.
A person who is not aware about computer is treated as illiterate. It
becomes very difficult and time consuming to keep all the records
manually. By using computer we can manage the report as information of
project very well. It will support to improve correct updating of record and
generation of report with the generation with the great case.

This project deals with the finance and showroom management of


the automobile. Computers are necessary for all companies because vast
data can be easily stored and daily calculation can be easily done to
computer. In finance company as well as showroom department it is vary
difficult to store a data manually and it is requires lot of stationery as well
as manpower. Thus now days all transactions is generally computerized.

This project is related only with two wheeler vehicles.

PROPOSED SYSTEM:
“Vehicle Management System” is software that maintains the
vehicle information and selling of vehicle by cash as well as finance. All
these functions are displayed on the single screen. All these functions
indicate a separate number, which is selection of proper option for the
user. All these options are performed different operation of vehicle
management system.

In our system the various forms are given in main form after login
so the various forms are given below.

1. New customer for cash as well as finance.


2. Details about the customers and updating records.
3. New Employee for Showroom, display records and make updating
them.
4. Stock Availability, New Model entries.
5. Instalment pay for finance customer.
6. Report.
7. Exit.
All the above options are properly work and suited to our project
i.e. “Vehicle Management System”. When the user chooses a proper
option then the software opens a submenu for that operation. E.g. if a user
wants to purchase particular model. Whether the model is available or not
and if new stock is to be insert and instalments pay. If the user wants to
protect the software from unauthorized person then he must set username
and password. Software also shows current date and current time in the
Check in Form details.

SYSTEM SPECFICATION:
The user is expected to ensure that the minimum system
requirements for loading the software are satisfied. The requirements are
given in the following section. The hardware and the software
environment in which this package was developed is given below. It is
necessary in the part of the user to make sure that the hardware and the
software he/ she uses is given compatible to the specification given
below..
