 Safe and efficient operation of Bagging and Shipping Unit handling bagging 1350
MT/Day Urea Production and Shipment of more than 3000 MT of Urea, DAP, CAN and
NP fertilizers .
 Inventory control of all the items related to uninterrupted shipment activity.
 Conducted Market surveys for customers’ satisfaction and maintaining quality assurance
of the Urea product.
 Close liaison with finance, Supply chain, Sales and Distribution department of Fatima
group.

Roles & Responsibilities


 Safe and efficient operation of Urea Unit including startup shutdown and trouble shooting
of 1350 MT/Day Urea Production.
 Maintain constant production rate and investigate any deviation values to find the causes
of production loss and take steps to rectify the situation.
 Organize staff for safe Startup/Shutdown by maintaining high standard of safety and safe
working practices at Urea Unit.
 Management of work force to resolve administrative and technical problem occurring at
Urea Unit.
 Steward the implementation of process safety program through training, reviews, and/or
performance evaluations
 In-house Training of departmental Engineer and Operators.
 Ensure end product specifications according to Quality Standard through control of
operating parameters.
 Getting the unit’s problems rectified by following up with maintenance, HSE, Admin,
HR departments.
 Give decisions regarding energy conservation, for increasing the efficiency of the unit
 Stewardship of developing work instructions (Standard Operating Procedures) of the Unit
in line with ISO-9002 requirements
 Implementation of HSE Management System.
 Management of Trainee Engineers and trainee operators assigned to the unit
 Looking after the people development and succession planning at the section through
JQP

 Element Leader Effective communication
 Enhancing communications related to process safety issues by acting as a liaison
between Line management and employees.

 Conducted risk assessment and safety study techniques as applied to hazard
evaluation and control
 Applied expertise in risk assessment and compliance to the performance of process
safety reviews in accordance with governing regulations using techniques such as
Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), What-If Studies, and What-If/Checklist
Studies
 Evaluated protective measures to prevent or mitigate process temperature or pressure
excursions that could exceed established mechanical design conditions

 Coordinate the activities as a shift in charge.
 Take on spot decisions for problem rectification for Ammonia, Urea, Power Gen
and shipment facility in the shifts in coordination with Plant management
 Administrative control of the entire complex, including transport, canteen and
warehouse.
 Close Coordination with Head Office.
 Act as On Scene Commander to Lead the mitigation activities in case of leakages
and Fires at the unit
 Act as a team leader of TRA (Task Risk Assessment) quality review team
 Carry out B.O audit of different locations of plant site
 Conduct monthly HSE floor level meeting with the shift staff
 Conduct regular chemical hazard awareness session with the shift staff as
assigned by communication team
 Carry out incident investigation as assigned by TRA element leader
 Approve MOC-T (Temporary management of change) as needed in plant area
 Report Near Miss incident/situation to avoid accidents from happening
