expectations for student success”. I work to embody this daily by creating opportunities for all
learners to meet their academic and social goals in the classroom and beyond.
Science from Grand Canyon University. I have five years of progressively specialized
experience in the special education and elementary setting in positions in reading intervention,
general education, and special education classrooms. I have extensive training and hands-on
experience using multiple crisis intervention processes in order to safely deescalate conflict in
the classroom including conscious discipline and CPI. I am certified in CPI, CPR, and first aid. I
possess a distinct ability to resolve conflict and retain positive relationships in the classroom. I
have been recognized for team-oriented leadership, reliability and resilience, and dedication to
integrity are pillars of my field and I plan to uphold these pillars in the role in the classroom and
in the community. Our role is to facilitate learning and growing for those around us no matter
where we are.
I am a passionate advocate for learners of all abilities and am dedicated to promoting the
needs of all student in general education as well as in a special education setting. Every student is
capable of learning and I will work to help each student that crosses my path.
