Mexican Architecture

Mexican architecture (also Mexican architecture)

means that existing
in what is currently Mexican territory and that carried out by
Mexican architects in other countries, whose influence is
very marked and notorious
referring to the constructions of pre-Hispanic,
colonial and modern Mexico.

Due to the artistic relevance of many of Mexico's

architectural structures, including entire parts of
pre-Hispanic and colonial cities, they have been
designated a World Heritage Site.
The country has the first place in number of places declared
World Heritage by Unesco in the Americas.
The most important architect of Mexico

He was born in 1902 in Guadalajara, where he

made his professional studies and graduated as a civil
engineer and architect in 1925. After finishing his studies
he was in Europe for two years,
on a study and pleasure trip, but without having
been in any academy or institution .

During this trip he was impressed by the beauty of

the gardens of the cities he visited, such as the Generalife
of Granada and those of the Italian villas and the Mediterranean coast.
Since then he retained his interest in
landscape architecture.

On his way back to Guadalajara he built some residences,

several of the publications were in magazines in the
United States, such as the Architectural
Record, and Italian.

In 1980 he received the Pritzker Prize.

Luis Barragán became a key architect until today,
because thanks to his work and studies, today the development
of spaces and emotional architectures can be deepened better,
where the key piece is the user and his comfort,
but above all the dignity of the lifetime.

Conclusions

Architecture is a discipline of service, where the most

important thing is the user, for this the background should
be known, and the processes that have improved architecture
through history, new ways of living and making city, in addition
to understand and translate in the design the criteria of local
regulations, which will serve as a guide to count
on architecture with quality, safety and dignity.
Le corbusier Father of architectural modernism
“ ACCORDING TO LE CORBUSIER

ARC HITECTURE IS AN ART IN ITS HIGHEST SENSE,

IT IS A MATHEMATICAL ORDER, AND IT IS PURE
THEORY, COMPLETE HARMONY, THANKS TO THE
EXACT REL ATION OF ALL PROPORTIONS.

THIS IS THE FUNCTION OF ARC HITECTURE.
