If communication is working ok, is this really an issues if FB command has to give once for one relay?
Do you know the existing LON version e.g. by checking from the other relays?
One way is to update LON module to the latest version.

Hi,
As suggested we used FB command and able to download configuration successfully. However, when we want to
make few changes in config and wants to down load we always get the same error E105 and have to send FB
command again.
This happens every time we want to download. Our Relay engineer says this is an exceptional case and not normal
practice to send FB command for every download.
Please let us know what should we do ?

Hi
LON error code seems to be the issues here.
1. When you are connected to X72 debug port, execute command "fb" in the teraterm. It will reboot the
LON card to bootloader. Do not select any actions!!!
2. Send configuration back to relay
-Close the teraterm first. This will release the COM port for conftool
-Switch connection to HMI front port of the relay
-Open conftool
-Send the configuration
Error E105 should not appear any more.
3. Now almost ready. The IBB Error will be red, because the LON card is still in the bootloader where it
was set in step 3, so we need to power cycle the relay one more time finish the operation.

Dear Jukka,
HMI doesn't have any menu option, right now it's blank as there is no configuration. So we can't see any menu in
HMI.
We tried to check the version from MCdebug port via tera terminal and we could found versions as attached.
However, if we try to read version or try to download configuration we always receive same error Invalid answer
from REF542+ .

LHMI menu: "Service" -> "Versions" then you can see two pages of versions (arrow down/up).

How to check version via LHMI ? do we need another software. Communication was never tested before also. We
tru to take local protection engineer support, but they also failed to configure the relay. We have this problem from
the beginning .

Didn't you test communication before getting customer along?
Was the communication working earlier ok but now failing (history about this situation)?

Ok and seems that relay is then downgraded to V4E03c-MB6.
I tested your configuration download to relay (MB-V4E03c-MB6) and didn't face any issue.
Can you read the relay versions via Configuration tool V4E.03b?
Configuration tool tool bar -> "Connect" -> "Versions" as below.

Hi ,
We recently purchased REF542+ S/N : 76A3N7NN366SS28
1. Ref542+ MB version is 4E.03C
2. As per your sales support recommendation, we used software 4E.03b ,
3. We had existing REF542+ file with 4E.03b which we tried to load ( attached file)
4. We tried to download to REF542 from HMi and MCdebug port . We even tried from different PCs.
5. We always receive attached error, and in HMI it shows UPLOAD VERSION message during this time.
6. Earthing is also connected properly to earthling bar
Please help us to resolve this issue, customer is in office for a witness . We are unable to show to customer due to
this error.
