Rachel:

Hi Judy. How are you? What are you doing at the moment?

Judy:

Hi! I’m fine, thanks. I’m watching some TV this morning! I hardly ever surf the net on Saturday
mornings because I often have lots of homework, but I haven’t got any today!

Rachel:

That’s great! I usually have a guitar lesson on Saturday morning but today’s my birthday! My brother and
I are playing a new computer game and my sister is making me a snack – a chicken sandwich and a
coffee! Birthdays are great!

Judy:

Well, Happy Birthday! I usually have lunch in the kitchen with my mum and dad but today it’s warm so
we’re having a barbecue in the garden. My mum usually goes shopping on Saturday but today she’s
making a salad and my dad’s making a pizza.

Rachel:

The weather here is very bad so we’re eating lunch inside. My dad usually works on Saturdays but today
he’s making a strawberry cake for my birthday. Delicious!
