Polly: Are there any tomatoes left?

Mum: No, there are no tomatoes, you need to buy some, but there’s some lettuce.

That’s great! I always have a piano lesson on Saturday morning but today’s my birthday! My sister and I
are playing a new computer game and my brother is making me a snack – a cheese sandwich and juice!
Birthdays are great!

Giles:

Well, Happy Birthday! I usually have lunch on Saturdays in the kitchen with my mum and dad but today
it’s warm so we’re having a barbecue in the garden. My mum usually goes jogging on Saturday but today
she’s cooking and my dad is making a salad.

Frank:

The weather here is very bad so we’re eating lunch inside. My mum often works on Saturdays but today
she’s making a chocolate cake for me. Delicious!
