Introduction:
Solar power technology is not a recent development, infact, it dates back to the mid 1800’s to
the industrial revolution, when solar energy were developmed to heat water that created
stream to drive machinary. In 1839, Alexandre Edmond Becquerel discovered that photovoitaic
effect which explains how electricity can be generated from sunlight. Use of solar energy on
earcth Adam and Eve landed on earth.
literature review:
Jeffery (2012) states that photovolatics generally relates to multilayer materials, convert sun
light directly into DC Electric power. According to him, solar cells are typically configured as a
co-operating, exhibits an excess of hloes each of which signifies the absence of an electrone.
Timilsina (2011) analyzed that solar energy has experienced phenomenol growth in recent
years due to both technological improvements resulting in cost reductions & govt policies
supportive of renewable energy development and utilization.
Ariz observed that the effects on wild life of large scale solar energy development and
operations are needed to adequately assess their impact, according to scientific literature
review conducted by the US geological survey and published in journel bioscience.
Patel, Deepali, overviewed solar system is most populatr things for the homes and also for the
business he ddisccoved material that can produced electrical current by simply being expersed
to light.
theoritical background
Swiss scientist horrace de saussure Antoine built the first solar collector. Lavoisier use solar
heat to melt platinum in 1774. In 1878, Augustine Mouche exhibited a stream engine pumping
water. William Bailey invented the first flat-plate solar conxentrator in 1909.
solar energy was used by humans as early 17th century BC, when history tells us that human
used sunlight to light fires with magnifying glass materials. Later, in third BC Greek & Romans
were known to Harness solar power with mirrors to light torches for religious ceremonies.
these mirrors become a normalized tool refered to as “ burning mirrors”. Chinese civilization
documented the use of mirrors for the same purpose later in 20’s AD.
Another early ued for solar energy that is still popular today was the concept of “ sun rooms” in
building. the sun-rooms used massive windows to direct sunlight into one concentrated area.
Some of the iconic Roman bath-houses, those situated on the south facaing side of buildings,
were sunrooms.
Later in 1200’s A.D, Ancestors to the Pueblo Native Americans known as the Ansazi situated
themselves in south-facing abodes on cliffs to capture the sun’s warmth during cold in the late
1700’s and 1800’s, researcher and scientists had success using sunlight to power ovens for long
voyages. They also harnesed the power of the sun to produce solar power steamboots.
Ultimately, its clear that even thousands of the year before the era of solar pannel, the concept
of manipulating the power of the sun was a common practice.
MODEL
Y= a + bX + u
where Y is efficiency of students
X is solar panels
b is slope, a is intercept.
Slope shows that how much change occur in efficiency of students due to change in solar panel.
u shows the factors that affect efficiency of students but not taken into account- e.g. Health
Parent education, family income, self motivation, schooling, etc
Methodology
the study is based on primary data (questionnaire)
secondary data ( internet, articles, journals)
Results
solar panel has both positive and negative impacts according to many studies . Before Prime
MINISTER scheme of solar panel that was started in 2012, the students efficiency rate was 43%.
but after the prime minister scheme of solar panel, the student efficiency rate is 47.63%.
According to our study that we have searched from primay data sources (i.e. Questionnaire),
the solar panel have both positive and negative effects. But our study shows thatpositive effects
of solar panel are more than negative effects. The prime minister scheme of solar panel has
90% positive effects and just 10% negative effects on effieiency of students. That means the
priem minister has worked well for efficiency of students to perform well in education system.
As efficiency of students increased, thw education system has been improved.
According to our study, the prime minister scheme of solar panel should be preferred.
