While he walked past me, I couldn’t help but start to weep. I wanted to walk him home. It
was not a very busy street, almost deserted. He could have been there, on that corner, for

An aurora is a natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude(Arctic
and Antarctic) regions, caused by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in
the high altitude atmosphere (thermosphere). Most auroras occur in a band known as the
auroras zone which is typically 3 to 6 in latitudinal extent and at all local times or
longitudes.
Aurora is classified as diffuse or discrete aurora. The diffuse aurora is a featureless
glow in the sky which may not be visible to the naked eye even in a dark night and defines
the exted of the aurora zone. Discrete aurorae are sharply defined feature within the diffuse
aurora which vary in brightness from just barely visible to the naked eye to bright
enoughto read a newspaper at night. Discrete aurorae are usually observed only in the night
sky because they are not as bright as the sunlit sky.
In northern lagitudes, the effect is known as the aurora borealis (or the northern
lights), named after the Roman goddess of dawn,Aurora, and Greek name for thr north
wind , Boreas , by Pierre Gassendi in 1621. Its southern counterpart, the aurora australis
(or the south lights), has almost identical features to the aurora borealis and changes
simultaneously with the changes in the northern auroral zone and is visible fron high
southern latitudes in Antarctica, South America and Australia.

nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well out of reach of any dog.
‘This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know,’ she called down to the fox.

Abdullah was one of the richest men in town, but you could esily mistake him for a
beggar. It was hit theory that since there were so many people out to rob a rich man, it was

be able to find that palce. With tis happy thought, Abdullah checked on his treasure daily.
Before long, the town was whispering about Abdullaj’s mysterious visits to the
unused well in the dead of the night. One of the people discovered the gold. He took the
gold coins and ran away with the miser’s treasure.
Natrurally, on his next visit, Abdullah found the hole empty. He began crying and
soon many people had gathered. They watched him grieve the way people mourn the loss
of a dear one.
Finally, a neighbour came forward and asked him to stop it.”You want your gold?
Just pick up a heavy stone and drop it in the hole. Pretend it is the gold you lost.” “How
can you make fun of me at a time like this,” wailed the stricken man.
“I’m not making fun of you, friend!” said the wise neighbour. “How did you use the
gold while it was here, except gaze at it every day? You could do the same with a stone.”
Abdullah was silenced.

country extracurricular activity at my school. In one event, we have to run in a race to
compete against several other school. The entire race was long and dreadful. It took place
in the desert so you know it’s hot and humid. We ran up and down the mountains. It was
pretty awful after 10 minutes into the race. People who ran in front of me made me breath
the dirt they created. It wasn’t so bad, until my throat started to hurt, it was just painful. I
had a hard time to catch my breath. Fortunately I managed to finish the race, but it was
horrible experience. However, I felt really good after I finished. I felt like I am alive again.
