Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company (PLDT) is the Philippines' largest telecom service provider,

with headquarters in Manila. PLDT dominates the Philippines' telecommunications industry, serving

roughly two-thirds of the fixed line and cell phone industries. Smart, PLDT's smartphone and internet

affiliate, has nearly 70 million subscribers since its 2010 acquisition of rival Digitel.

PLDT offers the country's widest and most diverse range of telecommunications services. Furthermore,

PLDT's infrastructure includes the largest FTTH backbone, as well as fixed line, mobile, and satellite

networks.
