Starting the Class:

- Have students enter quietly and have them start their bellringer
- Possibly have an incentive for them to stay quiet, like Ms. Balliet’s point system
- An incentive helps them stay on task.
- I noticed, because of the point system, the kids come in quietly and ready to learn which
is the ideal way to start class

Things to help students achieve success:

- Tell them to set goals and help them set those goals up.

Different kinds of instructing:

- Popcorn reading
- Group work
- Group work is a life skill. It helps prepare students for their future. Mediate group work,
try to make sure everyone is on task.
- Individual work

While instructing:
- Give students the time they should finish their assignment. This keeps them on task.
- If time: offer a break afterward, more incentive.
