Respect Should Be Earned
Respect Should Be Earned
Introduction:
What is respect and how do we gain respect? Those are the common questions
raised in the society, but do we know why we want to be respected? Do we
understand the importance of respecting things and people and getting respect in
return? Respect is really about what we admire in the world and in people. People
tend to admire things that they want. For example, if you want to be beautiful you
will respect beauty. If you do not respect money, you will never have it. If you do
not respect beauty, you will let yourself go. In short, what we respect reflects what
we want. But, how we earn the respect?
- It because the people who got despise will feel discriminated against and
unhappy.
- They won't respect you because you despise them.
- For example, every teacher should respect students like asking and listening to
their opinions instead of giving orders directly.
- It because when you ask and listen to students, they will feel respected and they
will respect you too.
- Thus, everyone wants to be respected. But, please respect others before being
respected.
- So, they will give their respect to someone who gives them respect too as respect
is a two-way system and not just one way.
- For example, parents will gain the respect of their children through their actions.
- By being there for their children when they are feeling sad after a significant
event occurs in their lives such as the ending of a friendship, parents will gain their
children's respect as their children are able to feel the love and concern of their
parents.
- For example, if a person is born with leadership skills, kind and patient, he will
win respected.
- A capable leader can make their team members also feel at ease and not so much
pressure.
- As the saying goes, it is better to have a good leader than a good leader.
- Not only that, often good leaders are loved and respected by many people.
