Guideline for Group Project (Group Work)

In this project, your group will study the acceptance of information systems
products/architecture/solutions in organizations or business. Some examples of information
systems products in organizations are CRM applications, ERP applications, cloud solutions, big
data solutions, Business Intelligence (BI) application, online marketplace platforms, smart
logistics, etc.

Your task is to discuss the product/solution and measure its acceptance in your target
sample (population) using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), TAM’s extensions, or
any other related models.

Conduct a mini research study involving a minimum of 80 respondents. Your respondents


will be the users of the IS product/solution of your choice. Therefore, pick your
product/solution carefully.

Produce a written report (feel free to use English or Bahasa Indonesia) with the following
structure:
• Chapter 1: Introduction
o Describe the motivation of the study
o The context (such as business process/setting, who are the users, etc.), and
o The scope

• Chapter 2: Literature review


o Describe TAM model that you use for this research and the constructs
(variables)
o Review a related research which has been done previously

• Chapter 3: Methodology
o Formulate your hypotheses
o Describe the methodology (quantitative or mixed between quantitative and
qualitative)
o Show the questionnaires.

o In your questionnaire, feel free to add qualitative questions in your
questionnaire to explore further.
For example, “what do you think about this technology?”, “what is your
recommendation to improve the system?”, etc.

• Chapter 4: Results & Discussion


Present the results and discuss your findings

Important: Analyze the data using Multiple Linear Regression in Excel or SPSS. An

The length of the group report should be around 15-20 pages.

Submission files:
• Group report to be submitted through the system by the deadline given, and
• Presentation (PPT file) to be presented during Video Conference Session 8 and
submitted to the lecturer’s email address right after presentation.
