Tutorial 3 Laplace Transforms

This document is a tutorial on solving differential equations using Laplace transforms. It contains 4 questions: 1) Solve 4 initial value problems involving second order differential equations. 2) State and prove two properties of Laplace transforms, find the Laplace transform of f(t)=sin(at), and use Laplace transforms to solve an initial value problem. 3) Define the Laplace transform, prove two properties of Laplace transforms of derivatives, and find the inverse Laplace transforms of two functions. 4) Solve a differential equation using Laplace transforms that involves an inhomogeneous term with exponential and trigonometric functions, along with initial conditions.
