INTRODUCTION:

Profit based business. It’s a private company. It’s basically media/entertainment industry. David
Ciccarelli is the CEO of the company. It’s a sole proprietorship business. The business was
established in 15 December 2013. It’s a service company which plays a role in online
marketplace that connects business people with professional voice over talents. Not any specific
customers for this job anybody can apply.

Many clients expect us to work only on their landing pages and are surprised that we analyze
the whole customer journey—from the initial ads to the retention of long-term customers—in
order to identify opportunities. For one client, we identified an opportunity for offline
marketing and devised a hugely successful direct mail campaign; for another, we identified an
opportunity for viral growth and implemented a “Tell-a-Friend” program that became one of its
top sources of business. We were customers of Voices.com three years before it became our
client. In 2006, we managed to achieve a double-digit increase in conversion for one of our
clients by adding an auto-playing audio message, which was recorded by a voice-over artist we
discovered from Voices.com. Good voice-over artists are like good graphic designers—they
make your company seem extremely professional. They can be particularly useful for tutorial
videos, for auto-playing audio messages, or even for automated telephone systems (IVRs). If you
haven’t already used Voices.com, it’s one of the most pleasant tasks you’ll ever carry out as a
web marketer. You just paste your text into Viscomi’s window, and then within hours, you’ll
receive many audition recordings from voice-over artists. You then play the role of Simon
Cowell, deciding which voice-over is the best. (To get in character, you might even decide to pull
your pants up to your rib cage.) VOI Technology owns, operates, and manages electric scooters
for urban commuters in Stockholm. Their customer is based on talent, our global network of
voice actors lends their talents in over 100 languages, accents and dialects to a wide variety of
projects, ranging from advertising, entertainment and gaming, to training, corporate content,
industrial applications and beyond. We proudly serve customers in over 160 countries, and our
award-winning workplace culture has made us an employer of choice for the best and brightest
in the industry.

INDUSTRY ANALYSIS:

Voices.com is a job search website focusing on voice actors and voice actor employers,
headquartered in London, Ontario. The company has a user base of more than 500,000
registered individuals and companies, and is reportedly the largest business of its kind. In 2017,
Voices.com had over 100 employees with clients and voice talent in 160 countries. Voices.com
is a platform that provides prices for different kinds of voice services, such as commercials or
voicemail messages. Actors are not required to join a union to secure work on Voices.com and
can audition for all jobs after joining the company's marketplace, however some of the clients
seeking voice actors for national network campaigns, feature films, movie trailers and video
game work require that talent joins the SAG-AFTRA union. It also has a library of articles to
educate users about the voice acting industry and trends in the field. It allows employers in
small markets to connect with voice actors in other regions, as well as connecting larger
companies with voice actors. The site offers freelancers in more than 100 languages and
dialects. Beside each freelancer's name there is a demo of the person's voice that employers
can listen to. In May 2012, the website launched an app for iPad and iPhone devices, followed
by the release of an app for Android devices in January 2013, both allowing job seekers to
interact with potential employers directly over their mobile devices. Competitors were
AnalytixLabs Gurgoan, Yelp For Business, REDBOOKS and etc. On the one hand, some
predictions are positive. The influence of senior citizens is rapidly growing – and is set to have a
major impact on the structure of the economy. Current estimates show that by 2060, one in
every four Americans will be over 65 years old. To give perspective on how fast the change is
happening, in 2010, that figure was closer to 1.3 in every 10 Americans. There are some
statistics that some of Voices.com strongest talent has in common. They are:

A 5% or Higher Shortlist Rate, A 70% or Higher Listen Rate, A 3% or Higher Booking Rate, A 5%
or Higher Shortlist to Listen Rate. The five categories of environmental forces will influence
future expansion or contractions of the industry are: Political and regulatory, Economic,
Competitive, Technological, Social and cultural. Among these 5 categories the most influential
one is social and cultural environment.

MARKETING MIX:

4P’S:

Price:

If we talk about broadcasting then, prices would not be same (every company has its own
criteria), like it depends on broad casting companies where as if we talk about non broad
casting companies, they setup specific amount on the basis of words limitation e.g. in 2-5
minutes a person must speak for about 300-700 words on that they’ll pay $250-$499.

Place:

It is an online marketplace that connects buyers of voice over with over 500,000 voice talent.
When a job is posted on Voices.com, talent send an audition and an estimated quote to
complete the work. Clients can then listen to the auditions, select their preferred talent and
begin work on the job.

Product:

There are different services which voices.com sellout in form of voices, e.g. Animation,
Advertisement, News, Announcer and etc.

Promotion:

Voices.com do their promotions on digital platforms e.g. SEO, word of mouth, Google listing,
social media (YouTube, linkden, Pinterest, Facebook etc.).

ETHICS & COPERATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY:

No such content available on google in which voices.com shares its ethics and CSR but from
reviews we come to know they are not so good at ethics. one of the reviews is given below
about the ethics of the company e.g.
5

“Due to very unethical business practices by Voices.com, myself and most of the top talent left
and made the decision very public. If you’re considering Voices.com, you need to know what
they are doing behind the scenes.”

SOWT ANALYSIS:

STRENGTH
WEAKNESS:
 Connecting voice actors
 No weakness
with business and brands

OPPORTUNITIES:
THREATS:
 Social forums
 Voice actors  Compititors
 Brands

Basically, the strength of the company is to connecting voice actors with business and brands,
they are like a bridge between voice actors and brands for that they categorize voices like:
animated, trailer, teaching, adds, announcements, news and etc. there is no such weakness
mentioned by company. Talking about the opportunities, the big opportunity is social forums
through which they are standing on their feet’s and later on they’ll get more opportunities
through social forums e.g.: marketing, grabbing their customers, promotions, targeting the
whole world and etc. Voices.com threats are their competitors.

ANALYSIS ON VOICES.COM REPORT:

The manager should invest in this company because, after doing research on Voices.com, the
research helps me out in answering so many questions in my mind. Voices.com has helped
launch my fledgling voiceover career. The consistent job opportunities have helped others to
practice auditioning and to become a better artist. This job not only help men but women also,
because not every woman can go out of their homes, but know every woman can work while
staying home. The best thing in this job is appreciating talent of every king in form of voice.
Voices. Com give that platform where we can give audition as per our interest like: animation,
news reader, reporter, announcement, drama, trailer and etc. voices.com is basically a bridge
between voice actor and brands. As per my research I must say this is a good business venture.
