This instruction describes how to initialize Admin password and Service password for MX3050/3060/3070/3550/3560/3570/4050/4060/4070N series to default.
Note that once password reset is executed for a limited number of times (99 times), it will be no more valid for execution.
1‐ 1) Press Home key twice.
2‐ 1) Total Count screen appears.
2‐ 2) Press the lower left side of the screen.
3‐ 1) Password reset entry key appears.
3‐ 2) Press the keys in the order listed below:
For Admin Password reset: [4] ‐> [6] ‐> [3] ‐> [//]
For Service Password reset: [5] ‐> [8] ‐> [7] ‐> [//]

4‐ 1) Administrator Password Reset screen appears.
4‐ 2) Write down the eight digit Reset Key Issue Code displayed on screen.
[For Service Password reset]
* The difference between Admin Password reset and Service Password
reset screen is title; screen structure and transition of screens are same.
[E‐mail is sent to the liaison.] 5‐ 1) The ”Reset Key Issue Code” will be notified to the liaison for management
of MFP password reset via e‐mail.
