1 Introduction
This document is divided into two distinct sections Configure the Client on page 6, and
Configure Kayleigh on page 16. It is important to complete each step within each section in
order to fully complete RBP configuration.

2 Configure the Client

Note:
We suggest using the PCL6 driver of the MX-4060N printer
(MXD50_PCL6_PS_1802a_64bit.exe) if you want to use a newer driver that is
optimised for CR4 machines, or the PCL6 driver of the MX-4141N printer
(MXD25_PCL6_PS_1505d_64bit.exe) if you want to use an older driver that is
compatible across most devices.
These can both be downloaded from the SHARP website. Instructions for each driver
are listed here in sections 2.1 and 2.2 respectively.

2.1 Install a printer driver (MX-4060N)

Unpack and run the driver installer. [Click] Add a new Sharp printer

3 Configure Kayleigh

3.1 Add a department and user to Kayleigh

Add a department and a user to Kayleigh, ensuring the username of the Kayleigh user
matches the Windows username.

For more information on adding departments and users please refer to the section Quick
Steps to Set up User Accounts to User Kayleigh in the Kayleigh user manual.

3.2 Register a Sharp MFP

Login to a Sharp MFP administration page and register the device to use Kayleigh.

Figure 19 - Registering a device to use Kayleigh

For further information on device registration please refer to the section Configuring an
MFP to Use Kayleigh in the Kayleigh User Manual.

3.3 Test Pull Printing
This step is to confirm that pull printing is working correctly. It is important to confirm this
step before adding any print rules.

 At the client device send a print job using the KayleighRbpPullPrint driver.
 At an MFP login to Kayleigh with the same user account.
 Confirm that the pull print job exists for the user

Figure 20 - 1 pull print job waiting for user Jamie

Note:
If there is no job waiting for the user you printed from, please refer to the section
Confirming the print job owner on page 20.

Commercial-in-Confidence Version: 1.1 Pull Printing on OSA enabled Sharp MFPs
3.3.1 Add a Print Rule
In Kayleigh go to [Print Rules] > [Create a new rule].

Add a new rule, we suggest adding a simple rule initially for testing and then more complex
rules once you’ve confirmed everything is working as expected. The following settings
create a simple rule that enforces mono to all jobs.

Figure 21 - Create a print rule to enforce mono

© 2018 Sharp Electronics (Europe) Limited. Page 18 of 20 Kayleigh: Setting up Rules Based Printing with
Commercial-in-Confidence Version: 1.1 Pull Printing on OSA enabled Sharp MFPs
After [clicking] submit you will be returned to the Print Rules page where you can see the
rule exists

Figure 22 - Test Rule Mono added to Print Rules

Finally, test this rule by printing a colour job to the KayleighRbpPullPrint driver, release at
the MFP and confirm it prints in mono. Further to the physical print out you can also confirm
what rules have been applied in the Kayleigh job results.

In Kayleigh go to [Jobs] locate the print job you printed and [click] details. In the job details
listed are the Rules that were applied to this job. In the figure below we can see that
Enforce mono was applied.

4 Additional Steps

4.1 Confirming the print job owner

If you are not receiving jobs for a given user, it may be that the username is not matching at
some point in the print process

Windows username

Kayleigh username

Diagram 1 - Confirm username across pull print process

As illustrated in Diagram 1, the username must match. In the given example the username
jamie persists across each part in the printing process. If jobs are not available for pull
printing, firstly confirm that the username matches.
