Project Justification:

The foundational goal of Global Treps is to put entrepreneurial minded young adults and
children in front of actual investors to make their dreams become reality. Global Treps
will provide a website for investors and young entrepreneurs to come share ideas, donate
to a cause, or receive training and recourses. In addition to the website, four shark tank
type events will take place in four different countries.

Product Characteristics and Requirements:

Website development and procurement will be done in-house, but outsourcing may be
necessary.

Website training videos to be outsourced.

Live events to take place in Vietnam, India, Ethiopia, and the United States (Each event
is to be led by an existing team member of the project). ONLINE EVENTS
EXCLUDED.

Equipment and supplies will be outsourced and provided to team members including
travel expenses.

Summary of Project Deliverables

Project management-related deliverables: business case, charter, team contract, scope


statement, WBS, schedule, cost baseline, status reports, final project presentation, final
project report, lessons-learned report, and any other documents required to manage the
project.

Product-related deliverables: guidelines and templates for running a shark tank type
event, ability to accept donations via website, suggestions forum, future scaling plans,
business plan recommendations.

Fully functioning website in six months.

Four live events in four different countries.

$120,000 budget.
