What is World Wide Web (W3 or simply Web)?
 It was first created around 1990 by Tim Berners-Lee working in Geneva, Switzerland.
(turo here kasi gusto ko iflex si Sir Tim hehe)

 It is the universe of network-accessible information, an embodiment of human

knowledge.
 Consists of information organized into Web pages containing text and graphic images.
 It has a body of software, and a set of protocols and conventions.
What is Web Page?
 collection of related Web pages and associated items, such as documents and pictures,
stored on a Web server.
What is Web Server?
 computer that delivers requested Web pages to your computer.
 software and hardware that uses HTTP (Hypertext Transfer Protocol) and other
protocols to respond to client requests made over the World Wide Web.
 The main job of a web server is to display website content through storing, processing
and delivering webpages to users.

Web Site Vs Web Page

 Webpage is a single document on the Internet under a unique URL. In contrast, a website
is a collection of multiple webpages in which information on a related topic or other
subject is linked together under a domain address.
 Web site is a book while web page is a page or chapter in that book
 For example, a company website can have various web pages such as home, about us,
contact us, products, services and other.
(this is what the website looks like)
