SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PLAN

FY 2016 to FY 2018
I. Executive Summary:
School Improvement Plan is the main vehicle through which San Ramon
Elementary School can effectively and efficiently manage educational services
from Kindergarten to Grade Six as mandated in the provisions of Republic Act
9155 or otherwise known as Governance of Basic Education of 2001.
The formulation of the SIP recognizes a highly participatory process that

constructs and connects the partnership between and among the school and
its stakeholders.
The Enhanced School improvement Plan of San Ramon Elementary

School is carefully crafted and planned that is aligned with the three (3)
DepEd’s main theme: (1) Access; (2) Quality; and (3) Governance and
integrated the Continuous Improvement Methodology using CI Tools to better
address the arising needs of the learners and attend to the needs of the
community through Home and School Community Collaboration (H-S-C
Collaboration).
II. Introduction:
A. DepEd’s Vision, Mission and Core Values
The overall vision of the Department of Education (DepEd) postulated in

the DepEd Order No. 39, s. 2010 which operates under the principle of “One
Vision, One Mission, Common Values, Common Goals, Different Strategies.”
VISION:
We dream of Filipinos who passionately love their country and whose
values and competencies enable them to realize their full potential and
contribute meaningfully to building the nation.
As a learner-centered public institution, the Department of Education
continuously improves itself to better serve its stakeholders.

MISSION:
To protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable,
culture-based, and complete basic education where:
• Students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe, and motivating
environment
• Teachers facilitate learning and constantly nurture every learner
• Administrators and staff, as stewards of the institution, ensure an
enabling and supportive environment for effective learning to happen
• Family, community, and other stakeholders are actively engaged and
share responsibility for developing life-long learners.

VI. Monitoring and Evaluation:
In its strong aspiration to improve school’s performance in upholding its

vision and mission to be a learner-centered institution, San Ramon Elementary
School aims to continuously improve its service to its stakeholders through
intensified implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Enhanced School
Improvement Plan.
The quarterly conduct of the School Planning Team through Monitoring,

Evaluation, and Adjustment is a way of assessing the status of implementation
of every Priority Improvement Area’s (PIA’s) and accounting all physical
outputs as bases for evaluation that are later on serve as learning guides in
making adjustments.
The M&E focuses on the five (7) focal areas such as: name of project,
project objectives and targets, date of monitoring,
accomplishments/status to date, issues/ problems/challenges,
recommendations, and signature of SPT.
The M&E technology involves summarizing all the physical

accomplishments, issues, lessons learned and recommendations of the SPT.
Common issues and lessons learned are also be noted and considered by the
body in formulating recommendations for future adjustments.
