Instructions:
Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting this Hands-on Exercise:
• Use Microsoft Word to prepare exercise solution.
• You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
• Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:
 It is submitted after due date.
 It is not in the required format (.doc or .docx)
 It does not open, or file is corrupt.
 It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, groups, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:
After completing this exercise, you shall be able to:

• Create a business page on Facebook to present/offer your service(s).


• Understand the major sections of the service.
• Write precise name and description for the service.
• Set a specific price and delivery time for the offered service.
• Attach portfolio or sample work with the service.
• Reach and engage with potential customer(s).
Problem statement:
Facebook is a great platform to engage with millions of people around the globe. It helps connect with
customers, increase awareness about the brand, and boost sales. In this exercise, you shall create your
professional Facebook page and offer your service(s), which will help you to create your social presence and
generate leads at the same time.

Task 1:

• Create a Facebook page using your Real Name or Business Name to present your brand/business.
(Provide URL*)

• Update your Real Picture or Business Logo in the profile picture section. (Provide Screenshot*)

• Add a cover on your Facebook page, and make sure it represents your skill or field of service(s).
(Provide Screenshot*)

• Update your details in the “About” section of your Facebook page.

Task 2:

To offer your service on a Facebook page, you are required to click on the “Add a Service” button in the
“Services” section on your Facebook page.

• Add the following items in your Service:


o Service Name
o Service Price
o Service Description
o Duration (time to complete a specific task)
o Your previous/sample work image related to the offered service under the “Show Service”

• After creating your service click on the “Save” Button and take the screenshot. (Provide
Screenshot*)

Requirements:
Microsoft Word file with following item(s):

• URL of your Facebook page


• Screenshots of Profile Picture, Cover Image, About Section and Service

• Create your Facebook page in “Business Service” category to render your services on Facebook
page.

How to submit solution file on LMS?

Please perform the following steps for submitting your solution using LMS:

1) Login to the LMS

2) Click on the Exercises button within the My Activities section

3) Click on the submit button to upload your Solution.

4) Keep in mind to upload your Solution in .doc or .docx format.
