C.1 Make generalizations and abstractions about the lesson can you name one and give its function?

System Unit – is the main part of a microcomputer,

sometimes called the chassis.

Power Supply Unit (PSU) – installed in the back

corner of the PC case, next to the motherboard. It
converts 120vac (standard house power) into Dc
voltages that are used by other components in the PC.

Adapters – printed – circuit boards (also called

interface cards) that enable the computer to use a
peripheral device for which it does not have the
necessary connections or circuit boards. They are often
used to permit upgrading to a new different hardware.
C.2.Evaluate learning orally by asking relevant question Identify the components of a system unit and give their
pertaining to the lesson corresponding functions.

C.3 Assignment: Assignment:

Inform students to read the Module and answer the questions
stated therein
List down at least ten (10) examples of hand tools used
in computer hardware and servicing. Place your answer
on one fourth sheet of paper. Be able to pass it next
meeting.
