Suggestion
No one would have guessed what happened on that dark and stormy night. I was home alone and had been feeling
pretty good about it until the thunder and lightning started. Then I started to get a little spooked. We live in the woods and
there aren’t any other houses anywhere around for miles and miles. So, I decided to go online and chat with some of my
friends until my parents got home. But, when I went online no one was around.
Then, I heard this strange creaking coming up the stairs. I didn’t like the sound of it, so I decided to lock myself in my
wardrobe. The problem was I had piled all my dirty clothes in there when my mother told me to clean my room. So, it
really stunk! But, that was the least of my problems. The creaking just got louder and louder until it was right outside my
wardrobe door. I was scared to death. I tried to hide behind the clothes when I started to hear the lock in the door and
then… You’ll just have to guess what happened. But, obviously I’m OK since I wrote this story.
